We keep the existing Multichoice rough-in if the brass body is sound, the plaster guard is set to correct depth, and the water connections are in good condition. We replace it if the body is cracked, the threads are damaged, or the plaster guard was set too deep and limits trim options. During our pre-work inspection, we bore a small access hole and photograph the rough-in condition so you know before demolition starts.

How do you handle a Delta EverEdge door that no longer seals because the pivot is worn?

We first check whether the pivot bushing alone is worn - a $30-$60 part plus labor. If the pivot housing is wallowed out or the glass edge has chipped from dragging, replacement is the only reliable fix.
